Your salary never leaves your browser

What is collected
Nothing. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies and no third-party script on any page of this site.
The site is a set of static files. The tax calculation is JavaScript running on your own device — the salary you type is never transmitted, so there is no copy of it for anyone to hold, sell or lose.
What is stored on your device
So that the page remembers you between visits, three things are written to your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, are readable only by this site, and are never sent anywhere:
- The figures you last entered in the calculator and the offer comparison, so a reload does not wipe your work.
- Your theme choice — light or dark.
- Your numeral preference — Latin or Devanagari digits.
Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes all three. Nothing survives it, because nothing was kept anywhere else.
Third parties
There are none in the page. Fonts are served from this domain rather than fetched from a font provider, so loading a page here does not tell anyone else that you did. The only outbound link is to NepalHRM, and following it is your choice.
The site is served through a content delivery network, which — like any web host — processes the request in order to answer it, and keeps standard short-lived server logs. That is the whole of the data processing involved in serving the page.
