Tell us if a number looks wrong
One address, read by the people who write the tax engine. No ticket system, no form that goes nowhere.
Corrections, questions about how a figure was reached, and disagreements about the rules are all welcome. So is a plain “this page confused me” — that is useful too.
Reporting a figure you think is wrong
A tax figure can only be checked if it can be reproduced, so please include:
- The fiscal year, and which page or tool you used.
- The inputs — monthly salary, allowances, bonus, whether you are on PF, SSF or neither, the basic salary the fund is charged on, and the months worked.
- The number the site gave, the number you expected, and where yours comes from.
The fastest way to send all of that at once is the share link from the calculator: it carries every input in the URL. Note that it therefore contains your salary — send it only if you are comfortable doing so, and see the privacy page first if you are not sure.
What we cannot do
We cannot give tax advice, review your assessment, deal with the Inland Revenue Department on your behalf, or tell you what to file. For any of those, a registered accountant is the right person — see the terms.
If you run payroll
The rules behind this calculator come out of NepalHRM, which does the same arithmetic for whole payrolls — payroll, attendance and hr software built for nepal.
